Austin-Healey the definitive sports car

Image
Austin Healey 3000
The Austin Healey marque was established through a joint venture arrangement set up in 1952 between Leonard Lord of the Austin division of the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and Donald Healey, a renowned automotive engineer and designer.

Austin-Healey produced cars until 1972 when the 20-year agreement between Healey and Austin came to an end. Donald Healey left the company in 1968 when British Motor Holdings (BMC had merged with Jaguar Cars in 1966 to form BMH) was merged into British Leyland.

I am in the process of repainting my 100-6. Can anyone tell me what factory
colors were available on a 100-6 (BN-6) when the car was being maufactured?

Are you still in the process? Paint colors are available in Anders Clausager

I have a big problem and I'm looking for somebody to help me!

I bought an
Austin Healey from 1960 in California and imported it to Switzerland. After a 3
year renovation I would like to register the car in Switzerland but the
autorothies demand a "registration card" or "vehicle registration
information record" from the DMV or a "vehicle history report
(NMVTIS)" - that showes the date of when the car was first registred (more
then 30 years ago).

I have the certificate of title but there is no info of
when the car was first registred in california and this is a big problem - I
have a VIN number:

HBT7L2499

but the NMVTIS requires a 17 digit number - so
now I'm sitting here in Switzerland and need a certificated report for the first
registration of this car - is there any way to get sombody to get this
certificate?

If you have any idea I would really appriciate!!!!

perhaps
somebody can help me to...

avatar Somewhere, sometime past I saw a list of the parts, tools and materials Healey
folk might consider assembling and carrying in the boot on road tours. I have
not yet found such a list on the Club website.

I'd appreciate it if anyone
could guide me to it to. Alternatively, perhaps you know where else it might be
found.

An article on what parts to carry. As far as tools, carry any special
tools plus a set of spanners, screw drivers, hack saw blade,
resource book.

I thought that new gas emission stds caused the demise of Healeys in the US in
the 60s. Ive been told it was Ralph Naders fault. Not true?!
