Production Records Trace
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) maintains original production records for all regular production Austin-Healeys. (Therefore note that the records for Warwick-built cars such as the 100S model and the “Special Test Cars” are not available from the BMIHT. Note also that records of CKD cars assembled aboard – for example in South Africa or Australia – may be incomplete or missing.)
The BMIHT will research a specific car’s original production information and provide the data on a certificate suitable for framing. Please contact BMIHT for current fees and rates, postage and packing. We accept all major credit and debit card. We also accept cheques and postal orders denominated in pounds sterling only. Please make cheques payable to BMIHC Ltd. For an application form please visit our website www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk Please provide the complete “Car Number” in writing whether by letter or fax. See Resource Book section titled “Car Numbers”. (Also provide Engine Number and Body Number if available. The BMIHT can in most cases trace an Austin-Healey from the Engine Number or Body Number alone, although there is an additional charge for this.)
